Still something was missing.
Blendamaze had developed a series of bugs and wasn’t updated for the latest versions of iOS and latest iOS devices. It felt like we were leaving out this foundational piece to our company – that our product offering was incomplete. The game needed a major overhaul and that’s what we’ve dedicated a large portion of this year towards.
Reviewing nearly three years of great feedback from our fans has led us to take a hard look at game mechanics and the overall gameplay experience. I am a firm believer that less is oftentimes so much more and our desire is to bring a beautiful, colorful game to adults and kids alike. Because of this, we’ve removed a number of gameplay elements and overly-complicated levels that only served to get in the way. Complimentary and Analogous stages are gone as they were just too difficult and this only hurt playability of the game. All in-app purchases have been removed and there are no ads in the game.
